Testimonials

Greg Read

"I had my Fender Jaguar setup to play easier. The Jaguar is playing so much better now and sounding great, its completely transformed the guitar. Thanks for all the work and attention!

Richard Paterson

"My new Yamaha went in for a setup to lower action, plus a new bone nut and saddle.

The guitar is great, it feels so good and plays just like my old Yamaha. The sound is so rich with a wonderful tone, its so nice. Thanks for doing a great job''

Alex Rivero

''Joe set up my acoustic guitar and it needed a fret level and crown as the frets werent level causing buzzing. The action is much lower now and the guitar is so much easier to play and sounds really clear. Thanks Joe!''

Services

What’s different about my setups? I leave no stone unturned, both in achieving the best possible playability and sound from your guitar, and in the level of attention I give to cleaning and polishing. This includes the 4 stage buffing and polishing of the frets, as well as the time spent carefully tweaking the relief, nut, bridge, and string height and tension to find that sweet spot — the point where the guitar truly comes alive, plays smoother, and sounds its best.

I treat every client’s guitar as if it were my own, and I don’t stop until it’s the very best I believe it can be in terms of playability and condition.

Please note: all setup fees exclude strings, though you’re welcome to bring your own. Electric guitar strings are £10.
